Travel Scholarships & Student Volunteer Program
ACL 2019 will be seeking student volunteers who will receive a free registration to the main conference. In addition, we also plan to offer a limited number of travel scholarships to students and possibly non-students with a demonstrated financial need. Please watch this site for further information on how to apply for one of these programs.
There will also be a Student Research Workshop (SRW). For those students with accepted papers, we expect to have grants to offset some portion of the students travel; conference registration and accommodation expenses. Further details will be posted here.

Cancellation Policy
Anyone cancelling their registration one month or more prior to the conference will be refunded the full amount paid.
Anyone cancelling up to three weeks prior to the conference will be refunded the ACL membership (if paid as part of the registration) and any amounts paid over and above the first $200.
Anyone cancelling within three weeks prior to the conference and all no-shows will not be refunded any amount. They will be able to retain the current full year ACL membership (if paid as part of the registration).
Anyone cancelling due to governmental travel restrictions, failure to obtain a visa, or serious illness that prevents travel to the conference will be refunded the full amount paid regardless of when the notification is received by the ACL Office.

Letter of invitation & VISA
Participants requiring a formal letter of invitation, to enable them to make their arrangements, should contact the Organizing Secretariat via e-mail, sending a copy of a valid passport, personal information details and the receipt of registration fee payed.
It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help delegates to raise funds to to obtain a Visa and does not imply a commitment from the Congress Organizers to provide any financial support or scheduling of presentations.
